Hi, I'm Anne! I'm an artist who uses ritual and healing energy to create wearable or decorative pieces from paint, metal, ceramics, and natural fibers. Queen of Wands Studio is my creative home and where I showcase my work. In the Tarot, the Queen of Wands is a healer and alchemist, using the energy of fire to transmute pain and fear into power and beauty. I use this archetype as my guide in my quest to create artwork that expresses the process of alchemizing denser emotions and leads the viewer/wearer to lighter frequencies.

My oil paintings are created from a meditative state and offer the viewer visual portals into wellbeing, abundance, peace, alignment, joy, clarity, and freedom. Some paintings represent the healing process literally, by layering shadows and chaos with visual representations of joy and peacefulness. Others showcase the transmutation of energy using color and form.

My jewelry combines crystals and stones chosen for their spiritual properties with primarily silver, a sacred metal known for its ability to purify. Unlike gold, which resists change, silver tarnishes, absorbs, and transforms; it asks to be tended, just like our energy. In this way, the jewelry I create becomes a wearable reminder and ally in protecting and cleansing ones energy.

My stoneware vessels are inspired largely by the rocky beaches of my home in coastal Maine. They combine minimalistic designs with rustic textures and refined tones.
